In the Shokan House by Jay Bargmann, the rigid-frame structure is the major design feature of the project. I worked with Allan Mezhibovsky and Baiyang Kong to create an accurate structural model of the house that mirrored the structure at a smaller scale.
All hinge connections are workable.
The metal pieces were cut with a waterjet machine.
All connections were soldered by hand.
