The intervention to the Peggy Guggenheim Museum in Venice provides a connection between the main garden and the roof by adding two levels and connecting them with a monumental ribbon-like volume.
The volume weaves through the space and serves to literally and visually connect the ground to the new rooftop condition.
The circulation volume can close up at night, allowing the museum to close while keeping the rooftop and garden open to the public.
