
House for a Winemaker
The site was first layed out according to an appropriate grid for a vineyard. Next program was placed into that grid, resulting in the house being visually and structurally connected to the vineyard and the site, and blurring the boundary between wall and vineyard row.






The bird watching tower breaks the imposing horizontality of the plan and creates a peaceful and secluded space.




The project began with analysis of Casa Moledo by Eduardo Sauto de Moura, which focused on the relationships between natural and artificial material and form.
